W dniach 6 - 8 sierpnia zapraszamy na Wolin, na XVI Festiwal Słowian i Wikingów. To jedna z największych imprez historycznych w Europie, w której udział bierze dwa tysiące odtwórców wczesnego średniowiecza.

Za nami Dni Słowian w Oldenburgu, a przed nami Koronacja Królewska w Gnieźnie. Tam, w najbliższy weekend (31 lipca - 1 sierpnia), odbędzie się inscenizacja koronacji króla Bolesława, z udziałem czterystu wojów i stu rzemieślników.

The royal residence of Harald Bluetooth has been finally discovered. The remains of the ancient wooden buildings were uncovered in the north-eastern corner of the Jelling complex, Denmark.

Harald ruled Denmark between 940 and 985 AD and is reputed to have conquered Norway and converted the country to Christianity. Famous Jelling runic stones was caused by him to honour his parents, Gorm and Thyra. To honour Harald, as such, Bluetooth wireless specification was named after him.

Kernavė is the very ancient capital of Lithuania and a home of Live Archeology Festival nowadyas. Impressive landscape, rich history and valuable archaeological finds have put it on the prestigious UNESCO World Heritage List.

After a busy month on polish soil it's time to go abroad.
This weekend, at 25 - 26 of June, we will join a festival in Holland, called Dorestad Cosmopolitan.

Eleven centuries ago various European civilizations were meeting and blending in Dorestad. This event is about to revive those times and cosmopolitan atmosphere of this place.
